Paintings and sculptures investigate the interlacing of the creative story of two twentieth-century protagonists whilst separately following the two individual paths. in January 1957 Yves Klein held his first solo show at the Galleria Apollinaire in Milan and Lucio Fontana was one of the first buyers of a monochrome by the French artist. During the successive five years (up until Klein's death) the two crossed paths several times. Amongst the most significant episodes of their  relationships we can recall contacts Kleine's contacts with and Fontana's friends and gallery owners, a collaborative project between the two for the XII Triennale in Milan in 1960 and several trips to Italy by Klein and Fontana's stays in Paris.
